Okay so among the long expensive list of things I'm doing to my truck while she is down, I decided to purchase a Eaton Detroit True Trac and man this little thing is HEAVY!!

Any way I was wondering what are some tips and tricks to installing this from people who have installed one theirselves. How do I measure back lash? What is acceptable amounts of back lash? And can I reuse stock carrier bearings?
