Request for 73-79 forum moderators for in house classifieds.

I ask them how we can get a dedicated/stickied thread that is a 73-79 classified WTS (want to sale) & WTB (Wanted to buy). Here is my wording....

-----What did it take to get the CC only forum approved for there own forum stickied in the top of the 73-79 forum thread list?

Is there any way the 73-79 forum could have there own classified/combo WTS or WTB thread? And have it to stickied to the top like the CC?

I feel it would get the parts for sale located by the truck owners that need them faster and give the sellers a dedicated place to list there 73-79 parts, and not out in the general classifieds.

I understand that there are certain rules and guidelines for using the Marketplace forum and that they would apply, I see no problems there.

I have heard numerous time that a 73-79 classified thread in our 73-79 section would be appreciated, what do you think? I cruise the WTB section and have to wade thru all the other truck years to get to the 73-79 parts request add.

Thanks for listening me out, Rich-------

So come on folks agree or not, post up some opinions. Let them know how you feel about it, or if you have any other suggestions or input let us and them know.

There are people that need to locate the parts and buy them and there are folks with parts for sale.

Newbie here but would be much easier to have a sticky for the items for sale.
This is a great site and it would make it much easier for us dentsides owners to locate and swap parts as wanted and needed.
Thanks

x2...I'm with Rich on this request!! Maybe back in the day this wasn't as big of a deal, but now with all the years of Ford trucks and the need for parts this just makes sense. Hopefully this can be achieved!! Thanks for your consideration on this request!!

Hello and good afternoon Rich!

Even though I have a 87 I feel that you SHOULD have your own section. There are an abundant amount of 73-79 Ford Trucks on the road but I can see what you mean while surfing the website.

Is there anything I can do to help the cause? I could say 78 instead of 87. Ha

Please advise.

Boon

I agree. Would be much easier to locate and sell parts without having to jump around. I think more people would use the sticky more often. Just my 2 cents worth.

Sounds like a good plan to me. It would make it much easier to searh.

If it couldn't be here would it be possible to split the classified section up into body style groups like a dent side (73-79) section of the classifieds?

I agree with Rich. We've talked about it some the last couple days & both agree It would be a huge help to both those looking for parts & those of us that sell.

just get rid of the classifieds and give each forum their own sticky, we're already there so it just makes sense . i dont use the classifieds that much due to the fact that you have to go page by page trying to find what your looking for. i vote for sticky.

Me too. I hardly ever look at the classifieds because you have to wade through so many listings.

Note: Tried to rep you Rich but ran into that old "you gotta spread it around first" .
Maybe that's something else the moderators could look at (get rid of).
