I have tons of stuff I would love to put on here for the Dent folks but current "for sale" section isn't shopped by many of the Dent folks. Our own section would be more efficient.

True, Not that I have tons of stuff to sell, but I dont look at the for sale section because I would rather get local and not drive 500 miles for a cab.....

On the cummins forum I am on they have the classifieds divided by year runs i.e. 94-97, 98-02, 03-04 and so on to limit clutter and keep it more specific for the buyer/seller don't see why it wouldn't work here.

Being a mobile user, it is time consuming enough to navigate the forum already. I go to "new posts" "73-79" and my chapter.

Having a B/S/T sticky in 73-79, and all the respecting categories, makes sense

I wouldnt mind seeing a classified section in every forum.
I would be a lot easier finding things.

Thanks for all the support and input, keep it coming. REAL good idea to maybe separate it in the classifieds section that is already set up.

But I like the idea of having one in each year forum. I was trying to come up with ideas that would help all the years, and that sounds like it.

I sent the idea to all 3 73-79 forum moderators and will let you all know what I hear, or hopefully they will post up in here.

Thanks again for the support of the idea.

Judging by what I've seen some of the north eastern guy pay for a nice cab that drive just might be worth it.
smile from ear to ear when I can sell one for a $100-$150 but if have a good cab & it don't sell within a month it goes to the crusher. Hate to do it but I can't leave them sitting on logs off the side of my shop forever & I seam to come across quite a few.

The classified section here is a JOKE! You have everyone that owns a 40 something truck to a 2013 posting in one section. Way to much crap to sift through.

Hopefully it will go better for us this time. I do not see where it would be all that hard to implement a classified thread in each vehicle forum.

Or at least break it up in the classifieds like the Older, Classic & Antique Trucks forum is broke up by years.

But I would rather have it in a stickied thread at the top of the 73-79 thread list.

Of course I am no computer guru.
