yeah u can get many types of stoneguard, like 2k ones which have a hardener in them which are alot tougher and durable, u can also get waterbased ones both of these are sprayed thourgh a proper sonteguard gun setup or just ur regulard ones in a pressure pack which are alot more lighter grade of stoneguard which is just what in wonted.

today got the guards and doors fitted up and allinged and put together the front end abit. had abit of dramas with the grille becuase of the colours i thought would work did not turn out nice at all so i had to switch the colours round to fix the problem. just to note it is so hard to get good photos when there is light coming in the roller door, all i have is my phone so i try my best to get quick snaps. once the truck is complete ill have plently of good quality pics to show.

here is what the grille came out like the frist time i feel it looked the "wrong" way around.

and here is the photo after i fixed it up. bit of a crappy photo but u get the idea.

it definatley needs the satin black stripes on the side the brake up all the colour on the body, its abit to much.

something i did with the inner doors should look alright i rekon, instead of sourcing and paying for the bottom half of the door trims which i never had, i just painted the middle of the bottom section in sating black just to break up the green and give the look of a pocket, but it was mainly to break up the green from the black door trim thats going in it.

Looks good! Excellent job. And I don't think it needs anything to break up the green sides. Looks tough or strong the way it is. All business with no frills.

Looks terrific! I will be interested in the blow through carburettor results. Do you have a chassis dyno available for testing/tuning?

Unfortunately, the only way you will probably get the secondaries working will be to either install the whole carb in a box (like the Studebaker supercharged engines were) or convert it to mechanical secondaries.
