Random question here. I removed my oil fill cap today to wipe any moisture build up out from under it. I don't know if anyone else has ever experienced this but my cap twists out and in very hard, so hard it makes me worry that I might one day break the filler neck removing it. Anyway, I know that would be terrible if that happened. I thought it might be good to have a back up (if its not too much) in case that ever happened. I did some searching and can only find the filler cap. Does anyone know where to get the actual filler neck? Like I said, don't have to have it right now but I do worry if I ever do have to have it.

 

Wouldn't it make more sense to figure out what makes it fit so tight?
It is probably an easy fix, you can probably see where the threads bind, and file the tight spots down until it is a normal fit.
