Not sure where your located, but here in Missouri, it illegal to drive that, with tags, etc. I think if above 32" or 36" . Called driving decapitation. State troopers here will have you towed.
Here in ky, I think you'd get pulled over so they could get a closer look.

It appears that California doesn't have a bumper height law, instead they measure to the bottom of the factory frame.
GVWR: ............................. Max height:
under 4,500 ...................... 27"
4,501 to 7,500 .................. 30"
7,501 to 10,000.................. 31"
I knew it wasnt a whole lot. Buddy had a truck lifted 8" , with 38" mudders. Drove it a total of 4 times, 2 $100 tickets and sold it. Was a good looking truck..lots of money and time wasted.
That truck looks awesome man. I'd love to see the look on some random guys face as you drive up behind them and inch up to his car closer and closer while going down the road with that truck.
in california and yes it is very illegal but worth every penny. i love it and am very proud of all the fab that went into building it. everything built by hand in house except heims and shocks. i guess ill see how it goes with the first police stop. hoping i get to enjoy for a little while
Ahh heck just Buy a longer drop Hitch that is what they do up here in my neck of Missouri I have seen pretty tall rigs uo here and I don't think they have any trouble. But oh boy that is a nice R I G.
you are already very involved into this project, you should run a divorced transfer case.you can mount it just about anywhere and it will solve all your drive line angle.
