Charging problem
#16
Charged both batteries for at least 4 hours each. Check both batteries with mutimeter out of the truck and they registered 12.7 on one and 13 on the second. Put both in truck. Turned key on and the the gauge dropped to the normal location when the GPR activates. Fired up nicely and the gauge popped back up to the M as it normally would! This makes me a happy camper. Checked batteries with truck running and meter said 14.3 which should be correct as that is what I see on my scan gauge as well. I left everything else I mentioned earlier unplugged. So if the batteries stay up overnight I will hook up one thing at a time to see if any add ons are causing a drain. I guess maybe I did not realize how dead the batteries were and how long it would take them to recover. I appreciate the help!! as always.
