1998 F150 Lariat Keyless entry
I just got this truck and order what is suposed to be the right Keyless entry remotes for it. When I try to program the truck, they are not excepting! I do the open door, close door, push lock, unlock, on, off x 8 and the doors lock on their own. But when I push the keyless button, nothing happens. What is going on? Am I doing something wrong?
My remotes are : 3B:213T-15K601-AB
three button....
Do I have the wrong ones?
I did buy new bat. for them both and still nothing is happening....

Been told now, that the $25 American keyless units don't work on Australian F series trucks, even though the numbers match up. Looks like I'll have to spend $380 for the Aussie style keyless remote from Ford, plus get reamed because the new unit has stuffed the system I can see me getting blistered at least $1k to replace some module in the system. What a load of BS.
