Hey Guys,

Newest truck is a 96 F250 Extra cab SB 4X2 and I wanna swap in a D60 that I have. Was wondering if anyone has done a coil over with (D60) and trailing arms using the stock 4X2 coil buckets existing on the truck currently?

Any links or how too's would be appreciated.

i have the parts for this (execpt tranny, xfer case, and shifter) and i can tell you that the buckets are taller in the 4x4. you do need to change them. also the front of the frame is boxed.

Thanks Richard, pix would be great. So you're saying I'd have to swap in Super Duty buckets? I have most all the stuff for a OBS leaf spring swap, just wondering if anyone has done it with coils. I know a number of guys have done a SD swap but as I've already got a D60 (from 97). Just trying to review options.

i would definatly go to a 05+ sd setup. if you go to leafs you will loose ride qualoty and turning radius.

BUT... if you already have the obs stuff, go for it. you will still have to box the front frame iirc.
