Same with me Steve. I would like to put a lift kit on the truck. but gotta have the money for that.

I think your lift kit will be a bit cheaper than the V8 swap into the Miata..

Lets see lift kit would be 2-3k plus about 1k for new rims, and then at least 1200 for new tires for those rims.

It will be a ton cheaper.. The conversion kit is about 4K, then you need an engine, T-bird or Cougar rear axle, trans, drive shaft..

true Steve. Not to mention one has to freshen the engine and rear up if it came from the junk yard.

Yep, freshening the 4 cylinder makes more sense to me now..

That seems logical to me.. It has new tires, brakes, rotors, top, and seat covers.

I think it needs an alternator. It sort of drags when it is cold and the belt squeals.

It could. COuld also be the belt needs replaced.

It was replaced when the other one broke a couple years ago..
