i got my door panels on but my window crank rubs the vinyl, , anyone got any ideas? i saw some at advance auto are they the same? ?

Hi there. There should be a round metal or plastic escutcheon that goes between the door panel and the door handles/cranks. You will find these in the Ford Parts Book, or in some of the repro parts catalogs, like Mid Fifties, or Dennis Carpenter.

Yes i have them both 1 is a rubber and 1 is chrome , i tried to use just the chrome pcs but that didnt work ,i guess i will have to try them both

I was hopeing to get a different handle that stuck our more ohh well

In the Mid Fifty catalog pg 94 they say their window regulator is made with a longer shaft so it will clear upholstery. Your's must be stock and of course these trucks just had bare metal doors.

 

yea i did see them .. man i hate to take mine back apart too bad they make extension ,,, i'll figure something out , i'll try some different handles i guess
