Use Motorcraft plugs and COP's so your local Ford dealer is the best place. If you can find them cheaper on line, that's great as long as they are genuine Motorcraft.

Those will work just fine BUT there is no reason to replace every coil. The boots are the part that needs to be replaced with the plugs. But if you want to go to the dealer and have them bend you over for 10 of the same COP's with the pretty Ford oval on them by all means do it.

Check rockauto dot com to compare prices. I always worry about ebay parts unless they have lots of good feedback

Boots, springs and plugs need to be replaced. Use motorcraft parts only. As far as the coil packs go I would wait and if you get a misfire change that coil pack only. Most of the parts can be had at a local auto parts store or rockauto. Not sure if you have but may want to change the pcv valve and fuel filter at the same time.

I would stay away from Ebay for this kind of purchase. In the event that you get a counterfeit part, It could cost $$$ you dearly.

I have ordered several times from Rock Auto, great place.

I should also mention make sure and use antisieze on the plugs, dielectric grease on the boots and a couple on the excursion forum have gone as far as placing o rings on the cops where the grooves are to help seal and prevent water from entering.

I only use motorcraft on mine too. Advance auto here sells the coils for $10 less per coil than the ford dealer. Plugs were a little less too, but only about 50 cents per plug. I would only replace coils as they go bad too. They either work or they don't and no point in replacing something that isn't bad.
