The challenge with electrical troubleshooting is the fix is almost never complicated. Locating the problem child can be a bear. Fixing it is seldom interesting, but it goes into the experience bank for the next time.

Glad it worked out! Since I owned a 97 for almost 8 years, I ran into most of the quirks of the 97 and 98 models including this one.
