Hey all happy thanks giving! Hope everyone had a great holiday!! I was able to take franken ford on its first trip over the holuday as well . i was exremely and pleaseantly surprised at it performance . But it also drew me to the conclusion a regearing is in order. I am currently running 3.53 gears and 35 inch tires ( purchased like that) and i found 4th gear on the np435 was nearly a myth unless on level ground . I have found a set of 4.11 rear and 4.09 fronts from motive gear for a good price and want to swap to those but i have a question or two. How good /reliable is motive gear products and what is meant by "i would need to swap the carrier to a 3.92 "? I know the current axel wont accept the bigger gears without light tweaking i just was wondering if its diffict to come by and uf it will be expensive. I hear carrier and i think "bearings" but i dont think that is what was meant could anyone help maybe post a list of goodies need and perhaps a link to where i might purchase or find some?
