I have a 1995 F250 with 61k miles its an auto regular cab 4x4 with a cap on it.Bone stock i just got it.There was no towing involved either?I have been getting 14-15 mpg.Is this normal and if not what can I do or check out?Thanks

 

You didn't state how much of your driving was on the freeway, or in city traffic. Around town, if I never get on the freeway, I'm around 15.

 

If I keep mine under 2000 RPM, it gets 17+ - but anything over 60 MPH and it drops to your 14 - 15.

 

80% highway. 3.55 gears crusing at 80.

 

You've got the right gears for mileage, but cruising at 80 means you're fighting a lot of wind resistance. If I keep my truck at 2000rpms, which is 69mph, I get 19+.
