A Little More Progress

Been trying to get the bed painted the last several weeks. Shot color last Monday, got it mounted on Tuesday and installed the taillights today. The bed wood should be here next week but the rear fender probably won't get done until spring.

Looks good, nice color. You have your own paint booth?... that's handy!

The paint booths are at CETEC the local college. I went back to school to learn how to paint. They have just about any paint and body tool that you need and the teacher lets everyone work on their own project anytime that he is at the school. I spend every Monday and Tuesday playing on the 48.

Started the next phase, Wood. What a pain, I would rather be building an engine.

The wood may be a pain, but it's all a part of it.

You're so close to finished you're pissing me off.

Yes the spray booths are at YCC. CTEC is an extension of YCC

Now is this the same bed you had or did you replace it?

Great looking truck, love that colour. That's quite a workshop if that is yours, love it, good size and comfy.

Moe, the bed is one that I found in Wickenburg, it was in a little better shape than the bed that was on the truck. The tailgate is a repop from Northern Classic. Here is what I started with.

Neville, The shop with the TV in it is mine. It is my retirement man cave.

When will you get the other hot rod on the road? I fully expect to see a build thread on it.

That is a real nice color. What color/code is it? I'm thinking of something like that for my 56 eventually
