Does this look scary?

This was posted on the Yahoo! Buick site. Am I just a little too much of a wuss or would this not scare you to pull this down the interstate? Looks like it would scare the heck out of me going around a curve or down a hill.

The car alone probably weighs in around 5500# and the trailer another 4000# with all the mechanics on it. You'd need one heck of truck to make it go and stop.

So far, what I'm seeing doesn't scare me at all.

The right tow vehicle will stop and start it just fine as long as it has brakes. I hope those are not 3500 lb axles. The COG does look a bit high and that would give me great concerns. Looks like a lot of weight is way aft, hard to tell.

That's a beautiful car, I sure hope he slows down on the curves. Looks way too top heavy for me.

If I'm not mistaken, that trailer was never intended to actually carry a vehicle. I had a buddy several years ago that had maintenance contracts with several rental car companies in WNY. He had a similar unit that he pulled to the rental lots where he used it as a portable lift to do oil changes. If that is the same, it has a large suare waste tank next to the hydraulic controls for the lift.

I don't see the point? Testing bridge clearances? Catch all the bugs the truck misses?

I would be uncomfortable driving behind it! What's in the yellow drum? Hopefully not gas!

There is no way that could be safe driving down a highway. I would love to see the look on the face of the state cop that pulled up to it going down an interstate

Now that Joe brought it up it does loom like some kind of rig to do on the site oil changes.

Some years ago I saw a rig similar to this in a.camp ground. It was double deck trailer with movable top. On top was a smaller boat and a small SUV on the bottom.
