I got excited and then no so much......

I thought I found my dream panel a 56 RANGER MH

Did you ask him how he adapted a 5-sp NP trans to the Y-block? Never heard of that.

Not so fast there. The truck is in the state of Washington and we've periodically seen old 4x4s turn up there that were commercially done conversions from that era. I don't recall hearing the name of the company, but they appear to have been professionally done. Not a backyard hack job. Price isn't horrible. Did you ever capture that Coleman? Stu

A half ton '56 is really uncommon. I assume you've seen this F-250. Stu
