Spring is pretty typical of Ford for major Superduty model changes. The 2011 models were released in April 2010 and the 2008 was available in like February 2007.
I am expecting a major improvement in the exhaust braking. They were scared to push the old twin compressor turbo. Aggressive exhaust braking with a VGT style turbo can create some pretty high rpm for the turbine and the old design wasn't up to the task. Having the exhaust brake user controlled is going to be a major plus! Now we sit and wait for the new HP numbers.

Not that I know of, but I believe there is talk of addressing the soft springs with something better.

Just my opinion but I think ford is usually very content with putting out a product and not looking at how to update it. Look at all the known issues both gas and diesel motors have had over the last 15 years, but yet they go years without updates. I hope I'm wrong and I don't know much about the 6.7 to comment accurately

I ordered out current 2012 6.7 Super Cab after the doc said probably no kids for us. I like the look of the SC the best and didn't need a big back seat. Just gear and groceries from time to time. Well, before the truck even came in my wife gave me the "uh oh" from down the hall we'd been waiting on for almost a decade. My daughter is 14 months now and although she and her car seat fit in the small back seat, it's tight. The regulations today for car seats and booster seats are amazing. I remember as a kid riding on a bench in the bed under the cap that dad had built for us kids so he could have a regular cab! Anyways, the dilemma now is, a 2015 crew cab with the new turbo or see if the rumored 2016 redesign happens and double my pleasure. I'm not good at waiting but hate buyers remorse even more...
