7.3 Powerstroke Van saves the day!

This is just a thread to brag about my new(to me) '01 7.3 E350. My buddies and I were up shooting in the Cascades yesterday and came upon a fresh accident, these folks got a little twisted up on the slick back roads. Once we got everyone out of the truck, the ol' van made short work of getting their truck upright again. Everyone was ok, this is a good reminder to SLOW down on the back roads this winter - we had a guy flagging traffic on this blind corner but there were still idiots coming in hot and they could have easily made this a lot worse. Between the sweet donuts we busted out , 350 miles of severe conditions, and flipping the truck back over - the van earned its stripes!

Nice work! And very nice van! What I wouldn't give for a nice 4x4 E-Series with the good ol 7.3... They seem very hard to find

Very cool. And I echo the sentiments about the van.

Thanks guys, we try to take care of each other up here in the oregon mountain country. As to how hard the vans are to find that's no joke, I fell in love long ago it took a long time to find one that had low miles that I could afford. I had to fly out to Pennsylvania and buy this one, still saved a fortune... worth every penny.

I like the vans too. I own a 00 E350 332k. I wanted one so bad I bought one from Maine. So RUST is my crutch. Guess I will drive it till it stop keeping me warm in Montana.

Ah Dr. Johnson, so you stole it from my neck of the woods! I think I would take one from Maine if it popped up, they're just that hard to find!

My powerstroke van saves the day every day! But then again, that was the intention when it rolled off of the factory line.

Good job on that truck.
