223 Oil Pan Gasket Replacement

Hello All,
I have a mid 50's 223 six in a 1954 F-100 with 2 very small oil leaks on the right side. One close to the right front corner of pan and the other one close to the right rear corner of the pan. They both appear to be at the pan/block gasket but not 100% sure. Each location drips a few drops on the garage floor when the engine is shut off. Probably drips the same when running. I would like to eliminate these drips so the questions are: Should I just try to tighten the pan bolts or remove and replace the gasket? If I change the gasket do I need to use a gasket sealer or will the gasket seal itself? If I remove and replace the gasket, is there any issues with the rear main seal or any other seal in this area? If that is leaking is that a big deal to replace? It appears like there is several inches between the front axel and the bottom of the pan so can the pan be removed without lifting the engine? Will there be enough room to remove the pan if the truck is on jack stands or does it have to be on a lift? Thanks for any advice you can give me. I am a newbe to this mid 50's trucken. Lots of fun.......so far!!!

If it is a non-cork gasket you should be fine with a little sealer. I am going to do the same this week on my 223. There are no other seals involved

Thanks F1dude. Was your gasket leaking like mine or was there another issue? I would like to see how you do on yours. I am not far from North Port. PM me when you can.

I had my new one ready to go on and found out I had wrong pick up screen. I had to wait almost a week for another and decided to use the gasket anyway instead of wasting it. Then I had a fire underneath my truck & ruined all the new paint & I suspect gasket because it is leaking..........."(
