BBK throttle on a Vulcan

An overheat followed by an incessant coolant thief plus rough idle has me I'm doing head gaskets this weekend.

While in there, I'm reminded I was looking at the BBK 1548 56mm thottle body on a 98-99 upper manifold.
Anyone here mess around with that?
I'm looking at pics and trying to relate the idle air passage at the top of the BBK to the conduit on the manifold.
Guru's claim its a drop in but I suspect some engineering is required.

And pray tell what will that do for you? All the restriction on a 3.0L vulcan occur in the head and valve setup. A BBK throttle body will do little other than lighten your wallet and increase the drivability issues.
