Vent windows leak bad, adjusting the vent window handle?
Both sides leak air and some water. The vent window handles are both loose enough that the vent windows won't seal.
Hard to tell but it looks like a tiny roll pin holds it on to the up/down swivel point.
I need to tighten it up. Thoughts? Seals look good on both sides.
Part number 8 under the vent window section.

Several years ago, I locked myself out of my truck, and had to break in through the driver side wing window by pushing it open just enough to get a coat hanger onto the window crank. After that, it never stayed shut very well. I found that not only was the inside of the plastic handle lock worn out, but the stud on the wing window was loose too. I had to replace both the wing window as well as the handle.
I don't see how the roll pin alone could be responsible in your situation. Rather, it's the items that the roll pin tries to lock against. I suspect you have one or both of the above problems I described.

There is no adjustment, that pin is for removal and re-installation of the handle. Like its been said a quarter/nickel or 2 or get a set of those wing locks LMC item #9.
If you pry around to much the plastic handle will crack, the metal one's hold up a little better. Once you damage the handle mount pin, its new vent wing frame time.

Even if you do replace parts and get the window to close tightly, I would still recommend the locks like item #9 on that page, or like jeffcole1970 posted, to help prevent break-ins. My previous '79 was broken into by prying the wing window open. They punched the ignition key module with a screwdriver, but they couldn't get the truck to start, so they left it. I had to replace the ignition key module. After putting a new one in, the truck still wouldn't start. The coil wire had been going bad, and I occasionally had to wiggle it to get the truck to start. Sure enough, a little wiggle of the coil wire and the truck started. That bad coil wire saved my truck from getting stolen!
