The kingpin sits straight up and down as did the stockers. If I lay both stock beams side by side; they are bent in the same direction. The AIM beams both bend in the same direction when laid side by side. You can literally swap the stock beams left for right and they bend the same way.
Tomorrow I'll remove beams and set one of top of the other to check bends. The difference has to be from the radius arm mount outwards. No instructions included and hardware was wrong size.

sounds like you got two of the same side they should not be interchangeable. and the kingpin should definitely have some rearward inclination for caster.

Please keep n mind I am sharing info for DJM beams. Don't jump to any conclusions without talking to AIM first. The instructions that came with the DJM beams said to lay the beams on the ground and look straight down on them. The king pin should point rearward at the top when installed they said.

So while I think you should call aim, I feel that I'm right and you have two of the same side.

I just looked at my 65 and there is an obvious difference between left and right I beams. You will end up with a negative caster if you mix the two up.
I also measured the radius arms and the drivers side is 1/2" shorter than the passenger side.
My beams are out of a 76 and I used the stock 65 radius arms.

Thanks Bill. If you look at the middle pic you can see the yellow arrow. Look how the end of that beam sits forward the direction of the arrow. Now look at other beam.

The hole for the radius arm on the non arrow beam looks forward of center as well (not centered on the beam)

the caster angle looks like it should, the one on the right looks like the drivers and the left looks like the passenger. but the bend in them from the top view looks ****ed.

which one was where? my guess is that you had them swapped side for side

Look at the height of the one on left. See how it's taller? Just an observation but it represents some of the quality control issues.

They were on the correct sides. You want the kingpins leaned back on top. They can only go one way to do so. The one pictured on the right is the driver's side.

Am I wrong?
