I need a better Slave Cylinder for my 95 F150
Any idea where to get a quality Slave Cylinder?
The Clutch Slaves Cylinders only seem to last about 2 or so years.
The one that was in the truck when I got it back in 07 went out the first super cold day we had.
First one I bought was a AutoZone import. That last 1 year till the next winter cold day. I warranty replaced it with the same type. that lasted 2 years.
Then I thought I got smart and spent 3X the cost and bought a Ford OEM one. That lasted 2 years and went out this morning.
The first 2 were plastic. I think the OEM one is plastic too but it does have the rubber boot that is supposed to protect the seal.
So I'm pretty tired of replacing Slave Cylinders every 2 or so years does anyone know where to get a quality one?
The truck is a 95 F150, Extended Cab, 4X4, 4.9L Big Six, 5 Speed w/OD, I think it is the Mazda Trans.
Thanks in advance.
