The V10 is going to tow differently than the diesel will.

The V10 is also down almost 200lb-ft or torque for the 2008 models.

From the 6.4, yea. From the 6.0 and 7.3... not so much. The V10 is down 100 ft lbs from the 6.0 but horsepower is near identical. Not to mention far less problems.

And the difference is a V10 makes its power the second you push the pedal. No turbo lag.

The OP was talking about 08-10 trucks.

No turbo lag but you do need to wait for the engine RPMs to hit almost 5,000 to make that power.
