How much could I sell my Navigator for?
For the last couple of months I have been thinking about selling my 2001 Navigator. The main reason is because of the price of gas, that it requires premium fuel and that I only get 11 mpg in town where I do most of my driving.
Some other reason are that I am worried about future maintenance that will cost a lot, like if the air suspension goes out and that tires for it seem to cost a ton more than other vehicles.
The only thing is that the price on these have seemed to dropped a ton since I bought it about three years ago so I am not sure what I could get for it, all the other navigators I look at on craigslist are no where near as good of condition as my Navigator is and I do not have the low miles like mine does.
KBB say it is worth $4,300 in excellent condition which I think is way off.
Recently I have had the transmission flushed and seal replaced, transfer case was flushed and had new seals put on at the same time, I also recently had the rear end resealed.
Last year I had the ac hoses replaced and ac recharged.
<o</oI have installed a very good sound system with Pioneer Kevlar 2 way 6x8 speakers in all the doors, a Pioneer Double DIN Dvd 7” receiver and a Rockford Fosgate Amp to power the speakers. Thats about $1500 in audio.
It has newer chrome American Racing Wheels.
It has Weather Tech floor liners in the front and rear.
It has 56,000 miles and the leather and carpet are like brand new.
<o</oThe previous original owner was very meticulous as he worked at the dealership where he bought it, I every service record on everything that has been done to it.
<o</o
I am a car nut and have also taken extremely good care of this Navigator.
I think it is worth $10,000 but I know I will never get that much for it.
If I did sell it I am thinking about getting a 2005 and up Ford Crown Victoria
Here are some pics let me know what you guys think.

It does snow where I live but not every year, every other year we get a big storm with snow. But I live about 3 and half hours from the mountain where a ton of people drive up to ski and such.
