Who's running the beans efuel kit? Had mine installed on my 97 and it makes an annoying buzzing sound coming from the pump area? Called beans they said that's normal but it's pretty loud. Is everyone's kit do this? Thanks

 

What pump does it use?

 

Bosch I believe

 

I'm not thinking it should b terribly loud.I was mainly asking because if a1000....they are dang loud.at least mine on my mustang was.I have no first hand exp with the bosch.

 

The pump should have more of a hum than a buzz

 

I guess you could call it a humming sound. Maybe this is normal for this pump just I notice it more than others cause my pump is mounted on the outside frame rail under my seat.

 

My beans efuel uses a walbro pump but it is pretty quiet?

 

when did you buy your beans kit? i guess they switched a few things. dose your have clear sediment drain bowls on the bottom of the filters? and where is your pump mounted?

 

You'll hear the pump more when you're sitting on top of it.

 

I bought mine a year and half ago mine has no clear sediment bowl and mine is mounted near where the tank switcher used to be

 

I have the bosch 044 pump version. It is noisy but I can't really hear it over the engine noise in the cab with the windows shut. Outside of the truck it is pretty noticable. Mine is mounted on the inside of the frame rail.

Its loud, you could mount it different if you want it quieter but its really not a big deal.

 

I have had mine for a few years. SD pump.
Mine changes sounds when I change the filters. Strange I know but seriously it gets quiter when I change the filters.
