Hey guys, Im new here from Florida, about to buy my first truck, its a 1997 ford f250 Heavy duty. Its an ext cab, long bed, has beefed up suspension, trailer brake, gooseneck and 5th wheel, it has 212000 miles and runs like a dream, it really looks good, i may pull a gooseneck once in a while, an will be pulling a landscape trailer a lot. Im sure this powerstroke could pull a house down. What do you guys think?DIESEL PICKUP POWERSTROKE F-250
I will post pictures when i figure out how, Thanks in advance for any ideas or advice, i have big plans for this!
I see you are in florida, so i guess you need to decide if you want it or not, but i would never buy a 2wd truck. Even if i lived in florida
This will just be my pull/ work truck, i have a need to pull a gooseneck and it should be a walk in the park for this. I am in the midst getting a bronco, hoping to restore, and that will be my offroader. The guy would take 5000 cash for this truck, which i think is a pretty good deal
5500 is a lot of money for a 2 wheel drive F-350 with 212k miles on it.
there is a 97 2 wheel F-350 dually crew cab longbed with fifth wheel on craigs list posted in the 94-97 forum for 4500 or best offer.

Really? There are 95,96,97 ford 250 4x4s goin for 6500 with 300,000 on them down here, i have heard that diesels are overall go for more in florida, Its hard to get any kind of diesel that isnt ragged out for under 5 here...
So, was that the F-250 HD? It has the same body as the 1997 F-150 but with 7 lug wheels?
Or is your truck the F-250 Heritage, which was an F-250 with the 1990-1996 F-150 body style?
This truck is the heritage, has the boxy body style, i was doing some reading, and i thought the Heavy duty f250s kept the smae body style in 97 where the light duty f250 went with the new curved body style.
Thanks man, it has been babied, the guy bought it to pull his 5th wheel, sold it so its time to sell the truck, for some reason it wont allow me to post pictures of it.
