Smog test in Temecula, Menifee, Hemet area

Hello all,

I did a search and did not find much. Is there anyone out there living in or near these locations that could PM me a good shop to go to for a smog check. I am looking for a place that does not flip out over mods that have nothing to do with emissions. When I had the truck tested 2 years ago I did not have some of these mods; however, I spent an extra half hour arguing with the shop that my after-market air filter was legal so they made me sit there why they "looked it up".

I don't know about your area but just print out right off the CARB web site, if they have questions hand it to them. If you have a tuner, I see you do hide it if you can. Just go back to the same shop, they shouldn't give you a problem.

What up Dan....hit up Temecula Smog. The owner, (god rest his sole) is who, my truck came from. So they know it, quite well. Mine passed last June, without a fuse in the panel, for the OBD...LOL.

Want to say, Winchester Rd, then hang "right" at Diaz...go down about a block or so..on "right" hand side.

Thanks for the info, I will check them out and see how it goes. I am going to hook up the AE this week and see if I have any issues before I go down. I guess in the worst case scenario I will have to switch some stuff back for the re-test.

On a side note, do you also post on Calguns? I thought I saw that screen name the other day.

Dan, don't hesitate to post in the SoCal Chapter forum too. They have a very active chapter and I know the guys down there will know of a shop.
