Good Source for Body Connectors here in Des Moines...
Hey all:
I just wanted to inform y'all if your having trouble finding replacement body/trim connectors that there's a store here in Des Moines called The Body Parts Store. Guess what they sell?
Anyway, the last week or so I've been trying to hunt down body connectors for a friend's jeep. Many of the local parts stores offered them, but, at best, in packs of 10, and even those had to be ordered in.
I remembered that The Body Parts Store was here, and ended up ordering from them. I got bulk packs of 25 or 50 for less than $10 each! They had a book of the actual connectors on display, not just pictures of them, so matching up the original connector was really easy and straight forward. I saw some connectors I didn't even know existed. Most of them they keep in stock, but some of them, like the ones I needed, do have to be ordered in.
So I just thought I'd share this source with you. If you're close enough to make the drive worth it, it's on N.E. 54th Street off Delaware Ave. As far as I can tell, this store doesn't have a website. A google search yields a website that doesn't appear to be connected with the one here in Des Moines. So, if you're not close enough to make the drive worth it, I am willing to purchase and ship connectors for anybody that would like me to for the cost of parts and shipping. Just PM me if interested.
That's all.
