Hello I just bought a 08 hybrid escape the problem is it won't start it has a red triangle, yellow wrench, and check engine light on

Things I've done :
Check shut off buttons front and rear
Pushed the charge button and waited until it started to blink with and without another car jumping

When I pressed the charge button with another car jumping it I heard noise from engine compartment


Now when I try to crank it sounds like a click from lower fuse box inside car


Had the codes read

B2110

I've replaced the battery under the hood

All I know about the car is its been sitting and it couldn't be started

The car started for maybe 5 seconds this morning I tried to give it gas and it shut off


If I need to change parts are the parts interchangeable with other years or models

Hi this should be an easy one. First make sure there is no mice damage, if there isn't you need a new electronic throttle body which you can replace 4 bolts. Make sure afterwards you rest the memory and learn the idle as outlined in my video. Any other questions please ask.

follow the connector for the etb back to the pcm, it is more than likely the etb in any regard as there are no other codes in the pcm for other systems on the truck. Any nesting material?

 

Hey when I turn the key there's a hard click noise from the fuse box inside the car on passenger side

 

I cleaned the throttle body and bought a 50 amp battery booster charger hit the charge button took 3 tries and it started also bought a scan gauge for yellow wrench bout the scanner doesn't pick it up only lights on no is a yellow exclamation and abs any idea what those are thanks

 

I don't know of its because the car has been sitting or the throttle cleaner but I smell a burning smell

 

It isn't trans or oil I'm smelling

 

Those codes are for the tp sensor which is part of the throttle body and are failing intermittently. If you don't change it it will leave you stranded.
