Where is the power supply for clearance lights?

Wiring up my Clearance lights for top of the cab, and for my running boards.

According to my diagrams there is a brown wire running along the passenger kick panel and down the gutter to the rear of the X.

I must be blind, because I'm not seeing it. Help please.

the bundle is "opened" from rear door edge to kick panel. I found a wire I think is brown, but am not getting any power through it.

I guess I'll go look again.

is this brown wire along the drivers side by chance?
