Happy Veterans day to all.

If you served or had a family member who served, thank you for your many sacrifices.

And thank you all too! It was really MY HONOR to be able to have served. I am glad you mentioned the families. They are easily over looked much too often...they endure just as much if not more sacrifice than the soldier does.
Thank You

Great reminder to honor those who have served...and...their families for the sacrifices they made so we may be free. I think it's especially important to reach out to the Viet Nam era vets who were treated so shabbily upon their return.

From a grateful citizen...Thank You!!!

As a VietNam Vet, I thank you Sir. I still haven't spoken to my brother in over 40 years for the way he treated me when I got back....

I am eternally grateful for the way we treat our newest veterans.....

I try to thank every Vet no matter when I see them. I wish all would wear a hat so I would know.

Some of the old guys tear up....and the wives of the young ones do.

In 1944 the US population is estimated to have been 138,397,345.

16,112,566 individuals served, in some capacity, during WWII.

There were 291,557 battle deaths.

We lose damned near 500 WWII Vets every single day.

Tell your children and grandchildren what they did. The history books will soon forget.
