OEM doesn't always mean truly OEM. You want Motorcraft coils. Rock Auto has them for $41.99 each. Which is about $20 cheaper than any of the FLAPS. <table class="main" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr name="pltr633" class="part0" id="table633part6"><td class="alternate0" rowspan="2"><table class="parts"><tbody><tr><td class="left" style="padding:0px; margin:0px;"><table class="layout" style="padding:0px; margin:0px;"><tbody><tr><td class="partlayout">MOTORCRAFT Part # DG508 {#3W7Z12029AA} </td></tr></tbody></table></td><td class="right" style="height: 40px;"> </td></tr></tbody></table></td><td class="center leftrightborder boldfont priceonly alternate0" style="padding-top: 10px;" id="node633part6price">$41.99</td></tr><tr id="table633add6" class="part0"><td class="alternate0 center" style="vertical-align:top; white-space: nowrap; padding-right: 5px; padding-top: 5px;"> </td></tr></tbody></table>

Don't do it is all I can say. If you need a coil (misfire or code?) then replace the bad ONE with a OEM motorcraft. Maybe buy one extra as a spare. Rarely do you ever need to replace all 10. Here are just a few threads to read. There are hundreds in the EX forum. Search COP, coil on plug. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...bay-coils.html https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...out-coils.html

I just ordered a set of 10 from performance distributors. $369.00 for all 10. They have a one year warranty and are direct replacement for the oem units. They put out about 40K volts compared to the oem 25K and produce a hotter spark. I'm running their performance ignition in my Jeep JK and it runs great with it. Quicker start, smoother idle. Can't say I see a tremendous amount more. Just ordered the Banks powerpack system for my V-10 Excursion as I have a cracked passenger side manifold so looking forward to seeing how much performance improvement I see with the headers and complete exhaust.
