My Free barn find 1950 F1 (pics) UP DATED PICS

I got it home yesterday guys pickup this almost rust free truck yesterday , I sold my frame, cab and front clip and title for the same asking price of this clean truck, its from down south, came with a 226 and three speed trans, freed up motor, and clean title, I'll not be changing a thing, just get it running and drive it like it is, Just need to get a pair of running boards

Back to the shop to work, I'll add more pics later....

WooHoo!!!

Good for you! Much better than what you had. Lots less work and you'll be driving it soon.

Outstanding!

Nice truck, but where's that big smile? I like the 'drive it like it is' attitude, but please go through the brakes! If you lived closer, we could make you some new 'boards' on the sawmill. I'm thinking a couple of rough-cut 2x 12', maybe 6' long? Good to go. Best of luck with your new project. You have a great adventure in store!

Definitely a very sweet truck. You said you won't change a thing, but you might consider, just because, installing a left side headlamp...

Congrats on the new ride!

A good looking truck, great find! The rust doesn't look bad at all, of course the normal places where the two piece fenders meet and the floorboard. How are the cab corners?

I have an old set of widow makers that you can have!
Yeah, I'm maybe just a little bit jealous. Very nice, I'm glad that it found a new home instead of some sort of "Gas Monkey" jerks flipping it or, eek, parting it out. I hope that you enjoy it for many years to come.
