48-50 F1, F2 & F3 Cab Variations

I'd like to know the following information regarding the cabs on the 48-50 Ford pickups:
1. Are the dimensions/size of the cab on the F1, F2 & F3 the same or do they vary? I believe that the F1, F2 & F3 all had the same size cab.
2. If they vary, does anyone know where, what or how much the cab varies and on which models?
3. I believe that the emergency brake on the 48-50 is a handle bolted to the firewall on the left side of the cab up under the dash. My mechanic thinks that the 48-50 Ford pickups had a handle through the floor mounted right next to the floor shift. I'm thinking that might be true in the larger/bigger models but I don't believe there was an E-brake handle mounted next to the shifter on the F1, F2 & F3 in 48-50.
Can some of you please help us on this?
Thanks very much,
Les

1948-50 F1-8 cabs were all the same. F1-F3 had the parking brake on the rear brakes, handle mounted under the dash left side. The f4-6 had the parking brake attached to the rear of the transmission, the handle was through the floor to the right of the shifter.

My 1949 F4 has the bracket up under the dash to which a left hand actuated E brake could have been mounted. The same 1949 F4 had the E brake handle through the transmission cover and was mounted at the rear of the transmission. So far as I know there is no difference in the cabs.

My '51 F2 has the stock configuration of a transmission band-style of parking brake. The handle comes up through the floor next to the shifter.

It might be because the truck was ordered with the 3-speed heavy duty transmission.

And there is something about drain holes at the cowl, too.

Right, the drains from the windshield flange at the corners.

What beads? And more on the drain holes. I was not at all aware there was a difference. This is interesting info.

I know what you mean now.... I never knew that being a 53-56 guy. I guess they are there for added strength. I think the 53-56 cabs have 4 of them.
