I've been searching, but I havent found anything about it.
The steering wheel in my 94 f250 is a bit worn and it bugs me. I'm just wondering if anyone has used a wheel from a newer gen truck? The one I have is the 2 bar one. Looks kinda cheesy.
I would like to retain my cruise and what not. Thought that maybe one off of the newer super duty might work, but didnt want to waste money on a parts I cant use. I'm sure I'm not the only person thats thought of this.
Thanks for the help. Sorry if there is a thread I missed explaining this.

Reason: spelling
Hmm... If it's just a little bit of wiring, I can deal with that.
I would do an aftermarket wheel like Grant, but I want to retain my cruise. It was one of the reasons I got this truck. haha... Lived without it for years. I'm getting old I guess.

You can look into a Vinyl XL wheel(they don't wear out) and you just put your horn pad on it to keep the cruise.
Also the SD wheel is not going to be cheap because they have an air bag in them
I put a 95 wheel into my 92. Just make sure you grab the clock spring for the steering wheel. You will have to cut the old plug off the old steering wheel wiring harness and swap it with the new wheels clock spring wiring.
