Question 1949 Ford Truck Sunvisor HELP??

I have a customer looking for a Sunvisor for his 49 Ford truck. I am not familiar with the width of the cab on this year truck he says it measures 48 1/2" is this a correct measurement of the cab for a 49 Sunvisor? Any help would be appreciated!

I don't believe anyone ever made them specifically for our trucks. Most who have them have modified other ones. Is your customer figuring to drive over 45 mph?!

Send a PM to "arrowheadfred", who is a member here. He has a visor on a 51-52 F-1. Plus he has been known to take pictures of a speedometer that is "stuck" on 140 mph and post them here on this forum. I'd dang sure find out how he mounted that thing.
