1967 Ford Ranchero Gas Tank

I'm currently restoring a 1967 Ranchero and the only part I'm having trouble finding is the gas tank. Does anyone here know where I could possibly find one? Thank you.

I had a 67 Ranchero a few years ago and it had a mustang gas tank. The gas gauge never worked. Hope that helps.

Many Econoline owners use a Mustang tank. The tanks are larger so longer straps have to be used. The intake needs to be moved from the center to the corner (radiator shop can do this). The Mustang sender works with the Econoline fuel gauge. I assume it should be similar with the Ranchero.

My son had a F250 with a fuel tank in the cab. He was having lots of rust problems. We could not find a new tank to go back in the cab, so we put a small piece of chain in it and rattled it around to b rake the rust loose. then we steam cleaned it, and bought some stuff called RedKote from ORiellys. It was like liquid plastic in a can. We poured it into the tank and rolled it around, then let it dry according to the instructions. It formed a plastic tank inside the old metal on and we never had a rust problem again. I hope this helps.
