Where to connect trans temp gauge

I have a F250SD 6.0. I want to connect and trans temp gauge which I already have. Can anyone tell me where on the trans to connect it.

Thx,

Digital gauges are far better at reading the temps thru the PCM and as it is the Torqshift runs fairly cool as it is.

thanks for letting me know, i fixed it, instead linked the picture, for some reason when you try to link pics in your gallery ie from an ipad, u can't right click the pic and paste just the pic url ,you can only copy the entire gallery url which is from an editing standpoint so no one else can see it.

Ya but isn't that Really a Trans fluid Pressure test Port???

I know it works for TFT but

So Idealy you get TFT reading from OBDII Port (Then you can see what the PCM does) and use an AfterMarket Pressure gauge there at that test port

A ScanGauge would be a better solution allowing you to see many other parameters.

Yes it is.

Yes it does, and quite well I will add.

Ands what would you do with the pressure reading there? How would you know if the reading is right or wrong? I wouldn't know by looking at a gauge, how do others know if it is right or wrong?

You can tell at idle and at stall, but at all other times the gauge will be ALL OVER the map. It will jump high, jump low, and just plain scare you. If you watched what the pressures are doing without having the calculated pressures request plotted alongside you'd think the trans was broken.

When I had fully instrumented transmissions in my development trucks at Ford I NEVER had a pressure gauge in the truck. It would have been useless for me to develop the transmission, I can't see any use for someone on the street.
