1977 Ford F600 engine?

F61EVX81472

Just bought this beautiful truck the other day and I can't figure out the engine. Ive searched all the vin decoding sites. Best I could find is that E = unknown....

Also I'd like to restore this truck over the winter.. Any good sites or some sort of ordering book?

Please some help would be great.

He is a member of this sight. He can decipher your vin for you. He has info on all the part numbers for just about every Ford out there. Very nice guy and much appreciated here.

From 1977 till now, somebody could've replaced the orig engine with most anything. But most likely it came from the factory with one of the three 330 FH engines, light duty, med. duty or heavy duty.
