Hpfp replacement

Ok so I am going to tackle this hpfp this weekend and somebody told me I need to time the fuel pump but I don't think that's needed with the 6.4. Also wondering about what else I should know I read that I need to reset the fuel pump learning. What else do I need to know?

Some of the 6.4 fuel lines are not reusable.
Not sure which ones.
What happened to your pump?

I would think that disconnecting the battery long enough, the truck would re-learn when its started again, could be mistaken though.
