Aussie heads with high port plates
If anyone is looking for some heads to start a serious motor these would be a good place.
Not mine and I'm not looking to build a high rpm motor so just passing the info on.
Austrailian Cleveland heads with high port plates.
Any of you 400 specilists know how much you could get out of a motor with these heads?

Port plate came into popularity for use on 4V heads - because there was such a difference in intake to exhaust flow. The 4V heads have a terrible short side turn on the exhaust.
The 2V heads are much better balanced in terms of flow.
Adding port plates to 2V heads strikes me as a strange thing to do. I have no doubt they would help, but the intakes would need all the port work you could give them to make any real difference IMO. Not sure what the header situation would be like either.
A certain "cool factor" is there if you want to try and build the ultimate 2V engine.
