I decided to get some 315s and a set of new wheels for the Excursion.

So Kris, I won't need that pic u forgot to send me. Lol


I'm getting some 16x10s like I had on my 94.

2) Not sure what you were attempting to do there

3) A wooden spacer isn't really that bad of a idea as it will not transfer heat near as much as a metal one.

yup.wood spacers was an old racers trick.
i had a wood spacer on a 273 4 barrel in a 64 barracuda. ran it with the wood spacer for close to 4 years on the track until the crank snapped.
if sealed properly a wood spacer will transfer much less heat to the carb than a steel or aluminum one will.

2) its supposed to be an egr block off, the guy wants to block off his egr
3) yeah i know they use em as spacers, 220* is a lot different than 1200*

I've used tin and red RTV along with a regular spacer plate to block of EGRs before. The temp isn't high at all in the intake as it is in a exhaust manifold.

Ah didn't really read just saw the pic an figured you were talking about the wooden spacer
