Thought this looked interesting, maybe a good replacement for the factory water separators? The prime pump would be an added bonus:

I bought a fuel separator, fuel manager/standyne style, on ebay and it had metric threads. This one does too. A friend tapped them to 3/8 npt problem solved, but I should have done more research before buying it.

What is everyone else doing for fuel/water separators and filters especially on 6.9s? I'm thinking about using something else instead of the fuel manager style.

 

Why bother re-tapping? Just use metric to barbed.

 

I tried every thread gauge I had, metric and standard. Couldn't figure out what the thread pitch was and the seller didn't know. The company I work for has a machine shop. I had to buy lunch for my friend for tapping the holes.
