My 2001 had 235K miles on it, 12 years old, and original sensors. They can go bad, but those codes should be vacuum related.
Steve, thanks for the advice, I should slow down. Unfortunately that doesn't always work for me.

The culprit was the PVC hose on the passenger side of the truck that comes out of the valve cover and goes into the back of the throttle body. I checked it out previously but obviously not that well. There was a crack at the back of the hose on the part of the hose that's coming out of the back of the TB right at the ninety, back by the firewall. Thankfully my friends shop didn't charge me anything to tell me this information...I guess they had pity on me.

I did throw a lot of money at this problem trying to fix it. Turns out it was a $28.00 PVC hose. I guess on the bright side my O2 sensors wont need changing out for a while, along with the MAF sensor and Idle air control valve.

On the bright side, I did find a couple of other problems on the truck this week that were unrelated to the above issue. Sway bar end link that needed replacing and a tensioner pulley that had gone bad.

I guess I'll have to take a Mulligan on this one....DOH!!!:

I have the same two codes and noticed two vacuum lines both going to this black thing above the brake booster. One has a green clip on the end and one has a white clip on the end. One of them goes to the back of the intake manifold. Could this be the problem and do I just use regular vacuum hose or is it a dealer item?

Leave the evaporative emissions system alone unless you know what you are doing and can actually demonstrate that those lines are an issue.
