keep track of what all this costs so that I am able to know what I have to save up for big bro! I know I am going to try to do a similar set up. I am wanting more rear wheel horses though.... I would love to be at about 450-500 when we get the "titty" done with!!

I read an article the other day that showed a guy put a 793 haul truck's 74 or 80 mm turbo on his OBS and was able to get around 50-60 psi with just that and that may be the turbo I try to find instead of the one you are going to install!!! I think that just sounds awesome! I cant believe Bill hadn't done that to his truck yet!!!

I would like to see that article Josh. When we got slow i got shiped to a bigger mine and i drove a 793 for a while. I would think they would of had to add more fuel and other Souporting mods to get that psi though.

Right now im still reading boost off the scan gauge and once i start getting like 25psi the scan gauge tweaks out. I guess maybe it cant go up that fast once the turbo really lites up. So i cant give an accurate reading until i get a real gauge in there.

..... There's a lot more to it than strapping some random big a$$ turbo on top of an engine. LOL

Yes they had some crazy injectors two pumps and other stuff. It was just pretty cool that they could do that and it worked....

He talking about the power level of that truck in the article you're talking about. About $20k would be a good start for that... by the time you get billet connecting rods, girdle, etc, etc, etc... the price is pretty crazy.

I hear you. I'm perfectly setup for a 366 and could do it for minimal cost. I just really want to be at 500hp though. Lol.
