I really really really really want to do injectors..I just wish I knew the condition of mine. I could scratch together the budjet build stage ones I think IF i put my mind to it...

Clifford runs great I feel like but I dont have any history before 264mi and he has 327000 now.

any good ideas? lotto? sell my body?

I have some racing suit safety equipment I have had NO luck selling.

Here's some food for thought on the injectors. They are going to last just as long now as they will after a budget build. So if they run good enough now to go another 50k, you could do that with them stock or modified. Your choice. If there is a problem with the internals you are going to be looking at a rebuild before long anyways... the main parts that are usually worn out or cause problems are nozzles and the plungers and barrels. Nozzle springs are often broken, but that's part of the budget rebuild. If your current nozzles are bad, well you were going to have a problem soon anyways. The plungers and barrels are probably worn a little, but if they're running fine now, they should work fine for a little while longer.

Trouble is Todd, there usually is another finger, behind the trigger, preventing the trigger to be pulled. Hint, its a female finger, LOL

I know that finger all to well! I'm sure it's 10x worse with kiddos.

In my never ending thought process to try to find about the trucks history....I called honda of houston today. I left a message and the owner called me back...we talked and he was floored that the ol guy is still on the road and that it has so many miles. He bought it new for the business to pull dirtbikes to ametuer races. He however leased it and only had it for a few years and turned it in for another. Soooo I didn't really get what I needed but it was cool still.he also told me he always deals with a ford dealer in louisana to this day. So it came from there.I'm considering doing a carfax but they sure are proud of that service.

I did a carfax on my SD before I bought it. IIRC I'm the 6th owner of it. LOL. It is kind of a cool bit of history about where the truck has been and how long everyone had it.

And Glenn, just know that Carfax is not always accurate. If a vehicle is In a wreck and not fixed by a shop that reports the VIN with the work, no dice. that is why I crawl under, around, and on top of any vehicle I buy.

You are correct byron.i had a mountaineer and i could see a wreck that carfax didn't get.
i am mostly wanting to see where my truck has been and how many owners. i don't know how to get from the carfax to getting numbers to call previous owners.

I'd like to do the same. I did a VIN history from two companies on my truck, but don't see previous owners. I do know it was a Texas truck and was brought to California in 2008, so its been here for 5 years. It has only had 3 owners IIRC. I do know that it has been hit and that the driver's side door and hinges have been replaced. When I just had the front end work done, I also had them check the frame front to back since they are also a frame shop. They told me the frame is perfectly straight. Anyways, my point is that zero wrecks show up on 2 different VIN history reports and I know for a fact it has been in one. Thank God the frame isn't "diamoned" as the frame shop calls it.

Sorry for the rabbit trail! Back to your regularly scheduled programming.
