D8TZ-10732-A Auxiliary (Driver's Side) Battery Tray on eBay

I put my used-to-be-NOS left side battery tray on eBay before realizing that I could sell it here. I had it in my '70 F250, but it fits '67-79 F-series and '78 & '79 Broncos, too. Check it out...

I've got a couple of extra battery aux battery trays. I pick'em at the 'yard whenever I see them... except for the really rotted ones. Otherwise, a lil minor patching and they have been as good as new.

I wonder what the reserve is....

I'd be happy to get $50 for it.

Once you run a decent aftermarket box you will never use a factory tray again. I use the Optima mount but I like the new odyssy/diehard box better (plus lets you run a regular battery, which, although I've had no problems with my optima, I feel like is the way to go cause you can buy them at sams club and exchange them every couple years as they age).

That's fine and dandy if one is OK going aftermarket/ Aint nothing wrong with doing so but some want to maintain the OEM look.

I'm all about OEM when it makes sense but $50 for a lil piece of light gauge stamped steel is just silly. Better to care about the truck you end up with than the truck it left the factory as, and one with an aftermarket battery tray is safer and better and more awesome. and etc.

Definitely agree to each their own, I thought about going aftermarket but glad I went OEM, just looks cool with matching trays especially in a stock truck, I think I paid $8 for it at P&P, little wire brush little paint good as new, or at least as good as the rest of the truck

I've gone as far as removing the brackets, removing all the rust using electrolysis (Electrolysis - Rust Removal), sectioning in new metal, welding it back together.

I gave NBC_Steve one to match is OEM cuz he's a Good Guy.

I've been looking for a decent auxiliary battery tray. I wonder what all was part of that system? My dads has it but is currently only using one battery. There's some sort of solenoid there that I at first thought was part of someone's rigging. It says Motorcraft on it so who knows.

Auxiliary battery, continuous duty solenoid, a firewall post with a plastic base, the short harness btwn the solenoid and the stud, then the long wire from the stud to the hot side of the starter solenoid, then the harness from the continuous duty solenoid to inside the cab which plugs into the three-hole accessory plug...
